Some 5,600 years ago, Sarah’s only begotten son Isaac carried wood for the sacrifice. Father Abraham told him ‘God would provide the lamb’.
The play had another act some 1,500 years later, with Moses’ command. Christians believe Yeshua was that Lamb of God. As we celebrate this Passover, Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday we remember the sinless lamb provided for us.
HE faithfully kept His promise. He is a Wonder.
We may not understand, but Isaiah told us ‘as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts’.
There is One who is in control, and nothing happens outside His will.
God took the most tragic event in history, the killing of God, to pay for my sins. It is I who sacrificed Jesus to death to ransom me, and all who believe. God used human hands to do His will, and forgave them all for their act as His son called out from the cross.
When your friends let you down, when all seems lost, HE is Here, waiting for you.
“Be of good cheer, it is I”, He said
Peace to all,
